Jungian Analyst

My focus is helping you to discover your own unique pathway through the hardships and challenges that you are currently facing. This path is almost impossible to find on your own when you feel lost, confused, overwhelmed, or in pain. At such times one may feel broken, defective, and defeated by troubles that you have tried your best to understand and overcome. However, in every struggle there lies the hidden possibility for growth and development that can lead to a renewed sense of meaning and well being.

My work is to listen carefully to you, to come to understand your unique life, and how what you are struggling with actually makes perfect sense. By understanding your life and your struggle we can find what is needed to navigate through to a renewed sense of life and meaning.

As a senior Jungian psychoanalyst, I have 10 years of specialized advanced training in analytic practice. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Certified Art Therapist, I have over 30 years of psychotherapy experience. What I offer is experience and the depth of perception and flexibility that comes with it. I am trained in the analytic tradition of Carl Jung which includes not only working within a verbal framework, but also making use of dreams, imagery, and artwork which are exceptionally helpful in understanding ones internal psychological reality both quickly and accurately.

People often come into therapy seeking to fix what they believe is something broken in themselves. I rarely find that this this is true though. Almost all of us carry wounds whose nature, once they are understood, ironically open doors to new life. I love what I do. I get to witness the unfolding of what currently seems stuck, painful or unapproachable into the discovery that dealing with these issues and patterns yields incredible growth and even beauty.
